Michael John Ciszewski is an actor and creator based in Boston.
He started telling stories to entertain and/or mislead his big, loud, Greek family to his desired effect while growing up in Northern New Jersey and hasn't stopped since.
His debut solo show EVERYONE IS DYING AND SO AM I will premiere with Boston’s Open Theatre Project in September 2019 and play the 10th Annual United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City in October 2019.
Michael has recently been seen onstage as Leo Hubbard in THE LITTLE FOXES for Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Smee in PETER AND THE STARCATCHER for Hub Theatre Company of Boston, Titania in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and Tusenbach in THREE SISTERS for Apollinaire Theatre Company, Chorus in ANTIGONE for Flat Earth Theatre, and Buddy in HOLIDAY MEMORIES for New Repertory Theatre.
He trained at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Art and is a proud alum of Boston University’s BFA Theatre Arts program.
Find him making all sorts of silly little things @micjcis wherever social media happens.

LEO HUBBARD In ACCLAIMED LITTLE FOXES at LYRIC STAGE COMPANY OF BOSTON
“Ciszewski once again shows why he’s one of the most promising young actors on the Boston theater scene.”
This winter, I made my Lyric Stage Company of Boston debut as grifter Leo Hubbard in Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes with a gifted cast featuring Boston stage favorites Anne Gottlieb, Amelia Broome, Craig Mathers, Remo Airaldi, Will McGarrahan, Cheryl D. Singleton, Bill Mootos, with Rosa Procaccino and Kinson Theodoris. Led by director Scott Edmiston and with a wildly talented creative team all at a company I have long respected, the project was immensely gratifying and widely well-received, becoming one of the Lyric’s best-selling plays in its forty-year history and receiving raves from critics and audiences and several Elliott Norton Award nominations including Best Production!
